Theories on Google

One of my theories with Google is that when a person searches for a certain thing, and Google delivers the results, the search engine pays specific attention to where you go after you click a listing.  If you stay on that site and do not go back to Google to search, they recognize it and it somehow helps the page rank of that site, in time.  So in other words, you do a search for "effects of red bull" and the 10 ten listings come up.  You click on the first one but soon realize it does not deliver the information you seek.  So you go back to the search engine, do the same search and click on a different listing.  Overtime, I think Google recognizes this, and somehow if that keeps happening, maybe some of the listings will shift spots and the site that was number1 will now be number 3 or something.  I have seen it happen plenty of times and I honestly believe that is the reason.  Now of course there are a lot of other factors included in page rank and position of your listing in the search engine, this is just one of my many theories on Google.
